Practical
It’s practical you know,
to do that thing your heart says no,
it’s practical you know,
just because the world says so.
Because any other way,
would need so much more work,
and more work is always bad,
tell me, is it not so?
Lets always stay practical,
and laugh at those fools who try,
when they ask us if we are trying as hard,
we can pretend to be surprised, and ask why,
for we too have been trying,
who are they to say we have not,
they can keep chasing their silly dreams,
we will be the ones who have the fun,
its practical you know,
to join forces and act as one,
lets stick together, enjoy the day,
till our paths draw us apart,
then whatever seems practical,
we will choose to do,
but for now, lets keep that subject,
practically taboo.
